If you don't see all the folders on your IMAP mail server in Emacs Gnus, when you hit A A in the Group view, check in you ~/.emacs file to see whether the nnimap-list-pattern variable is not set.

If set, this variable limits the available folders to be subscribed to. Unset it, and you'll be able to see all the folders.
