Setup Open AFS access to HCoop in Gentoo

To mount your HCoop home directory on your local system and work with the files easily:</p> <ul> <li><table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b># emerge openafs mit-krb5</b></td></tr></table></li> <li>Change <strong>/etc/openafs/ThisCell</strong> to: <table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>hcoop.net</b></td></tr></table></li> <li>Add the AFS cell this workstation belongs to <strong>/etc/openafs/CellServDB</strong> <table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>>hcoop.net #hcoop.net<br /> 69.90.123.67 #deleuze.hcoop.net</b></td></tr></table></li> <li>Edit <strong>/etc/krb5.conf</strong><br /> In <em>[lidbefaults]</em> section, change the <em>default_realm</em> line to: <table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>default_realm = HCOOP.NET</b></td></tr></table> in the same section, add: <table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>allow_weak_crypto = true</b></td></tr></table> in the <em>[realms]</em> section add: <table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>HCOOP.NET = {<br /> kdc = kerberos.hcoop.net<br /> admin_server = kerberos.hcoop.net<br /> default_domain = hcoop.net<br /> }</b></td></tr></table> in the <em>[domain_realm]</em> section add: <table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>hcoop.net = HCOOP.NET<br /> .hcoop.net = HCOOP.NET</b></td></tr></table></li> <li><table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b># rc-update add openafs-client defaults</b></td></tr></table></li> <li><table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b># /etc/init.d/openafs-client start</b></td></tr></table></li> <li>Check that the <strong>libafs</strong> module is loaded, otherwise you'll get errors and will not connect.</li> <li><table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>$ kinit <a href="mailto:user@HCOOP.NET">user@HCOOP.NET</a></b></td></tr></table> where user is your username. Now your files will be mounted in: <table bgcolor="#000000" border="1"><tr><td border="0"><font color="#FFFF00"><b>/afs/hcoop.net/user/u/us/user/</b></td></tr></table> wher u/us/user refers to the first letter, first two letters, and finally your full username.</p>
